Intro and Apartments, lol

Right! So I finally got one of these, yay! Anyway, this is the introductory post for the OOC journal for hotcoffee (that's me), cause my real journal is FUCKING BORING. Seriously, you don't want anything to do with it.
Basically, I'm into roleplay and The Sims, among other things, like first-person shooters and doing weird shit on the internet. Yes, that means I still play pretend and I still play with dolls. Get over it.
Now that I've chased the asshats off, allow me to make an introduction to the bizarre things I do in regards to roleplay~ Like making Sim houses of places that I'm playing in my RP. So there's that.
OK, to begin with, I was bored the other day, and I decided I was going to fuck around in Sims2 and make something random. This time it happened to be an apartment for the characters my friend Sarah and I are playing currently in Atia (yes, THAT Atia.)
From outside.

The view of the front hall. I'm going to let you decide who's poster that is, Sarah, cause I have NO IDEA.

The view of the living room from the hallway with the bookcase.

This bookcase in fact. It's the reading nook~

Here one can see the interesting decorating scheme. Likely inspired by what a certain someone found on the side of the road one day. Note the dried tangerines in the bowl there. How D's ever going to get any writing done here, I have no idea.

Also of note are the mismatched chairs. And the mismatched sofas, bookcases and various other items. It's lived in.
They probably got those chairs from people who were giving away old breakfast sets or sth.

Here we find the (messy, messy) table. Behind it, if you look carefully, there is a chess board. Fun times. And Delta loves his cactoids.

D usually takes his work home with him. It sits on the coffee table. It's not like coffee cups ever go there or anything.
One of the things people (in the RP) will notice are all of the plants sitting around the house. They're probably all D's, only he has this brown thumb. He tries, at least? There's a bush on the table, a cactus in the living room, a hanging lily in a pot near one of the book cases, some random plan in a planter on the wall in the entryway, a ficus in D's bedroom, a fern in the kitchen, and a hosta in the kitchen right above the table. He says they're homey, but all the one in the kitchen does is drop leaves on the table.

And here we are again, back across the table for a look at the living room. Note the lucky cat on that table. Got it for free cause there's a chip on the bottom. No idea if that affects how lucky it is, though. The couches I suspect were found laying out for the garbage, but they're quite comfortable, so there.

OK, getting into the kitchen-area now. There's this funky stone/brick/something archway that leads into it. Interesting visual note there.

It's a bit kitsch, but beggars can't be choosers. Besides, there are more important things to buy than furniture that matches. Like food and clothes.

THIS FRIDGE IS NOT ACCURATE. Picture something older, like, egregiously fifties, but just as horrifically orange. At least it's well stocked.
Bedrooms!!

This one is Sean's.

And this one is D's.

The loo~

Continuing the trend of mismatched gear, all of the towels are different colours. That reminds me of my own house, really.

From above~
Please ignore the fact that it's sitting alone in a field. That's a lie, but I was lazy and I don't have Apartment Life so it's just sitting there all by it's lonesome. There is...at least one other person living in the apartment building that this room is situated in, just fyi. Yeah, the front door should lead to the hallway on the second floor, but clearly it does not. You can just imagine it, can't you?
Anyway, that's it! Hope you enjoyed the picspam.
